Ces r\u00e9sidus ne peuvent pas \u00eatre compl\u00e8tement \u00e9limin\u00e9s m\u00eame par de fortes pr\u00e9cipitations et affectent durablement la performance de l&rsquo;installation photovolta\u00efque. <\/p><p> <\/p><p>La premi\u00e8re <strong>\u00e9tude continentale sur les pertes dues \u00e0 l&rsquo;encrassement en Europe<\/strong> (DLR, CIEMAT et Universit\u00e9 de Ja\u00e9n, publi\u00e9e en 2024 dans <em>Renewable Energy<\/em>) montre que m\u00eame avec un effet de nettoyage de la pluie de seulement 10 %, les <strong>pertes de rendement annuelles peuvent atteindre jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 5,3 %, voire 14 % dans certaines r\u00e9gions<\/strong>. La cause en est le profil d&rsquo;\u00e9missions unique : l&rsquo;air d&rsquo;extraction des \u00e9tables contient de l&rsquo;ammoniac, des particules fines de liti\u00e8re, des r\u00e9sidus d&rsquo;aliments pour animaux et des a\u00e9rosols organiques qui s&rsquo;incrustent litt\u00e9ralement sur la surface chaude des modules sous l&rsquo;effet du soleil. S&rsquo;y ajoutent le pollen, les poussi\u00e8res de r\u00e9colte et \u2013 surtout dans l&rsquo;\u00e9levage \u2013 des particules biologiquement actives qui favorisent la formation de mousses et de lichens. Les lichens s&rsquo;incrustent fermement dans la surface des modules et ne peuvent plus \u00eatre enlev\u00e9s sans nettoyage humide m\u00e9canique.   <\/p><p> <\/p><p>Selon les enqu\u00eates de l&rsquo;industrie, une salissure \u00e0 peine visible optiquement peut d\u00e9j\u00e0 entra\u00eener des <strong>pertes de rendement de plus de 6 %<\/strong>. Pour les installations typiques sur toits d&rsquo;\u00e9tables, des <strong>pertes de 10 \u00e0 25 %<\/strong>, et dans des cas extr\u00eames <strong>m\u00eame jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 30 %<\/strong>, sont document\u00e9es.
