Cleaning such a structure poses great challenges for the companies commissioned.

Even though the steel and glass construction with its straight-lined design of the Südkreuz train station appears comparatively simple, it also poses challenges when it comes to cleaning and maintaining the property. The glazed roof area to be cleaned is over 3,000 square meters - and it has to be kept clean, because in addition to the visual aspect, soiling can attack and damage the building fabric, surfaces and window seals.
