The new trend is called floating PV - floating photovoltaics. Floating solar parks have already been established in Asia for several years and are now conquering the rest of the world. Hydroelectric power plants, irrigation reservoirs, natural lakes, water treatment plants, quarry lakes, industrial water ponds - there are plenty of areas for floating solar power plants.

For more than ten years, the company Isigenere S.L. in the Spanish province of Alicante has been active with floating solar technology. The company's patented Isifloating technology makes it possible to use water surfaces partially or entirely for solar power. Projects in Europe and South America have been successfully developed and implemented.
