PV CLEANING ROBOT: solarROBOT compact
EFFICIENT CLEANING ROBOT FOR SMALL AND MEDIUM-SIZED PV SYSTEMS
Our PV cleaning robot solarROBOT compact is the perfect introduction to efficient solar cleaning. With a recommended operating area of
Advantages of operation and cleaning:
- Compact size: Each of the six individual parts weighs <10 kg – for easy handling even without a lift
- Maneuverable & user-friendly: Ideal for narrow, isolated, East-West, and elevated surfaces
- Expandable: with versatile accessories such as edge detection for safe navigation or larger brushes
THE FACTS
800–1,100 m²/h cleaning performance
The compact cleaning robot is equipped with 800 mm wide brushes as standard. These can also be adjusted to an offset position within a few minutes – or upgraded to 1,150 mm brushes for an extended cleaning width.
Simple Plug & Play System
Thanks to its easy handling and intuitive design, the machine can be assembled without tools. Using a radio remote control, the machine is easy to operate and allows the operator to achieve optimal cleaning results without physical exertion.
Smart Accessories
Thanks to its modular design, the robot can be supplemented with various accessories. As the only robot on the market, the hose is also intelligently handled by the machine for up to 100 m, without dragging on the ground.
Safety Upgrade for the compact
Powerful Cleaning
Despite its compact design, the compact has a brush diameter of +/- 250 mm and thus ensures thorough yet material-friendly cleaning with a high brush rotation speed of +/- 300 rpm.
No Part Heavier Than 10kg
The robot promises optimal weight distribution with consistently good grip. Therefore, each of the 6 individual parts weighs less than 10 kg. This makes the machine ideal for simple and easy handling, so that a BG-compliant ladder ascent with the robot is also feasible to bring it onto the surface.

FAQ ON THE PV CLEANING ROBOT solarROBOT compact
What is the Compact's Cleaning Performance per Hour in M²?
The cleaning performance per hour depends on the chosen brush size and the degree of soiling on the PV surface. With normal soiling and a cleaning speed of approx. 1 km/h, approximately 450 m² per hour can realistically be cleaned with an 800 brush, and up to 700 m² per hour with a 1,150 brush (considering setup times, turning maneuvers, etc.).
How much Does the Compact Cost and when Does the Purchase of a PV Cleaning Robot Become Worthwhile?
As standard, with two 800 mm brushes, the solarROBOT compact costs €19,990. If you choose the 1,150 mm brushes instead, the price is €21,990.
The acquisition of your new PV cleaning robot can be easily calculated against the yield losses caused by soiled solar modules. To see how much cleaning potential lies in your solar system, use our practical Loss Calculator.
How Long Does the Battery Last when Using the Compact?
A battery is already included in the scope of delivery of the solarROBOT compact. This allows for continuous operation for up to three hours. For longer cleaning operations, a pre-charged battery can be easily and quickly swapped in. Charging time in the supplied charging case is less than two hours, allowing for continuous cleaning.
What is Included in the Compact's Standard Delivery?
The compact consists of two chassis, a control unit including radio remote control, a hose guide, and two 800 mm brushes. Alternatively, these can be changed to 1,150 mm brushes for an additional charge. Additionally, a charging box including a battery set (1 pc.) is included. The compact is delivered with our leather treads including a cleaning bucket and PAD cleaner. Of course, rubber treads can also be swapped in here.
What Maximum PV Surface Inclination Can the solarROBOT Compact Handle?
With the solarROBOT compact, solar surfaces with a maximum inclination of 20 degrees can be cleaned. Regardless of this approval, the local surface condition must always be checked separately and determines the maximum achievable angle of inclination. Furthermore, the choice of treads for the compact is crucial for the achievable angles of inclination.
